Starting guide
A guide for when you first start AIT
So you want to get a TARDIS, but you don’t know how, well, you’re in the right place now.
Before anything, we suggest you at least get a lot of iron for a pickaxe and recipes that will come later.
1. Getting zeiton
Zeiton is found underground and is similar to amethyst geodes, as it also spawns in geodes (refer to the zeiton page to learn what it can do and how to grow more)
After getting some, you’ll need to craft a fabricator to be able to get the components needed for a TARDIS.
2. Getting blueprints
Blueprints are what allows you to craft components, it can be found in most structures. You’ll need to gather each blueprint at least once as it is not an expendable item.
3. Getting a Sonic
You’ll need to get a sonic screwdriver blueprint to make one, right-click the blueprint on the fabricator and you can see items flashing on it, those are whats needed to craft the screwdriver. You can also see what you need by holding shift when hovering over a blueprint in the inventory.
4. Growing a TARDIS Coral
You may refer to this page for help
5. Engine, Subsystems and Console
Now, assuming you followed the TARDIS Growth page and returned here with a empty TARDIS, you’ll need to get an engine to give your TARDIS power, a console to control it, and subsystems to add features to the thing.
Now, you’ll need a respirator to breathe in the TARDIS as there is no life support for you to live in the TARDIS. Check the respirator page out to see how to craft it.
Engine
Great, now that you can enter it, you'll need to craft an engine, its a core part of your TARDIS and can be crafted like the sonic, which is by right-clicking its blueprint on the fabricator and giving it the items it shows.
You'll need a 3x3 space for the engine to be placed, then, the TARDIS will be powered on and you can connect Generalized Subsystem Cores to it via artron cables.
Subsystems
There is a total of 8 subsystems (the backup circuit does nothing as its broken in the code). You will need to craft links to craft these subsystems as they are a marvelous piece of engineering. Refer to the components/subsystems page for details. You can place each component into the Generalized Subsystem Core and unlock functions of the TARDIS.
Console
Refer to this page for controls and this page for customizing it.
6. Getting more stuff
The most minimum of a TARDIS is a TARDIS with an engine, a Dematerialization Circuit and a console inside. If you don't have all the circuits yet, you can get an astral map and use it to find cult structures which contain a lot of blueprints for your other subsystems.
7. Flying the TARDIS
Now that you have a functioning TARDIS, you need to learn how to fly it, you can refer to this page for learning flight events. You can use a sonic in scanning mode to see what each control is on your console too.
